Patrick C. Booth               

Patrick Booth is a Pittsburgh native and partner with the Firm. Mr. Booth focuses his practice largely on helping personal injury victims in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. He regularly represents plaintiffs who have been injured in automobile and trucking accidents, by defective products and by dangerous property conditions. In addition to his personal injury practice, Mr. Booth also regularly handles bad faith claims for clients when the insurance companies refuse to comply with state laws”he prides himself in knowing the insurance company rules and is known around the firm as a resident expert on auto insurance law in particular. Mr. Booth’s results for his clients speak for themselves”he has recovered millions of dollars, including single cases in the seven figures.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Booth was an associate with a large defense firm in Pittsburgh where he regularly defended trucking companies, railroads and Fortune 500 companies. In 2013, Mr. Booth switched from the defense to the plaintiff’s bar to join Chaffin Luhana LLP, and help injured victims. Mr. Booth enjoys using his knowledge and experience as a former insurance defense attorney to help his clients get the best results in their personal injury cases.

In addition to his litigation and trial court experience, Mr. Booth also has extensive appellate experience. His reported appellate decisions include Rossi v. Consolidated Rail Corporation, 2010 Ohio 5788; Fields I v. CSX Transportation, Inc., 2010 Ohio 3877; Fields II v. CSX Transportation, Inc., 2011 Ohio 6761; Link v. Consolidated Rail Corporation, 2009 Ohio 6216. Mr. Booth received dual undergraduate degrees in Finance and Government from the University of Maryland, where he was a Presidential Academic Scholar. He received his law degree cum laude from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. During law school, Mr. Booth was the Business Manager of the law review, and also a winner of the moot court competition.

As a an attorney with Chaffin Luhana LLP, Mr. Booth has been a supporter through the Chaffin Luhana Foundation of the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh, which provides services to families of children undergoing medical treatment.

Mr. Booth is admitted to practice law in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio. He is also admitted to practice in various federal courts, including the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio.
